Since the Lozano family started San Jose Health Care in 2013, our mission has been to provide the best in-home care services for seniors who wish to enjoy their time with families while improving their quality of life in the comfort of their own home. We wholeheartedly embrace this mission because we believe that there is nothing more noble than providing compassionate care for the loved ones who have taken care of us in our youth.
During such uncertain times, we believe that comfort and companionship can ease the worries of seniors across the country, and we want to do our part in improving their quality of life. Needless to say, “Home is where the heart is,” and we find that this is absolutely true.
A Caring Staff With Years of Experience
At San Jose Health Care, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without our empathic caretakers and experienced staff. In order to ensure that we provide your loved one with only the best caregivers and caretakers, we follow a strict protocol that includes:
- A thorough interview process
- Criminal and OIG background checks
- COVID-19 testing
Alongside going through a rigorous hiring process, our team members also undergo constant training so that they can deliver the best care possible. Training subject areas include, but are not limited to:
- Infection control
- Disinfecting
- COVID-19 safety protocols
- Abuse & neglect
- Exploitation
- Body mechanics
Our clients have the opportunity to approve of their caretaker via phone, in-person, or an online meeting (e.g. Skype or Zoom). Family members will also have the opportunity to meet with supervisors and administrators to become better familiar with our team.

- A caring team of medical professionals available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- A companion that can accompany them through doctor visits and hospital visits.
- A diligent workforce that ensures you or your loved one is safe from COVID-19 exposure.
- Specialized care available for cancer, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, and heart disease patients, to name a few.
- Our caregivers receive training on COVID-19 protocol, using CDC and state guidelines.
We are dedicated to providing only the best in companionship services through our “family approach,” making ourselves available to our clients whenever they need us, day or night. We truly care about your loved ones, that’s why we get to know our clients on a personal basis.
